1.How much does CodeMessaging.net/C.A.D. Dispatching/Response Check cost?

Standard intra-departmental messaging accounts are only $29.99/month with unlimited messages and up to 250 users. Routing dispatches to mobile devices requires the CAD Link module which is an additional $50/month. Discounts are frequently applied based on the size of the deployment, complexity, and commitment length. There is a one-time setup fee of $100 for any account and there are NEVER any contracts or length of service requirements!

2. Is my dispatch center supported?

Every dispatch center is different and the software each uses varies considerably from center to center. However, most dispatch software supports the ability to connect to CodeMessaging and all that is required is authorization from the center’s director. Even if the dispatch software cannot create a connection immediately, CodeMessaging.net offers free (no-cost) custom installations to make it possible. We are committed to bringing the ability to automatically route your dispatch information anywhere you need!

3. We only have alpha-pagers, can we get that information on our mobile phones?

Yes, this is a specialty of CodeMessaging.net! Save hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars every year in pager fees by routing dispatches to your member’s existing devices instead! Even if you do not think your dispatch center can connect to CodeMessaging.net, it is still possible to get dispatches to your mobile phones!

4. What is Response Check?

A responder tracking and feedback system. By simply replying to a text-message from any mobile device (a blank text message is fine), Response Check detects you are answering an alarm and will post your name, qualifications, and custom response time or other information to a common status screen. This screen can be shown on any number of monitors at home, work, or in the firehouse so you can always be informed of who is responding as well as additional information such as response location and estimated arrival!

5. How quickly are messages/dispatches sent?

Messages are sent through CodeMessaging.net at rates exceeding 50,000/hour, however every mobile service provider is different. CodeMessaging.net cannot guarantee how quickly an individual provider will route a text-message (such as Verizon, T-Mobile, AT&T, etc), nor can CodeMessaging guarantee how quickly a dispatch center may forward over the dispatch information. However, our end users typically receive dispatches between 10-30 seconds after the alarm. Some setups even have departments receiving the messages before their dispatch systems go off!

6. Are you able to filter dispatches by Call Type?

Absolutely! In fact, CodeMessaging.net can filter and adjust your messages based on almost any criteria. The more information your dispatch center sends, the more options are available to you! Call Type, Units, Mutual Aid departments, etc. are all possible filters and more!

7. I have , can I receive messages from CodeMessaging.net?

Most mobile providers support text-messaging these days. However, some older phones do not. CodeMessaging.net supports almost every mobile provider as well as other non-provider specific protocols, so if you confirm you can receive text-messages, you should have no problem working with CodeMessaging.net!

8. Do you limit the number of messages?

No. CodeMessaging does not limit nor charge extra for the volume of messages sent.

9. Do you limit the number of users?

Accounts have an initial limit of 250 users, however large accounts are not a problem for a small additional fee. CodeMessaging.net has many accounts with thousands of users in customized deployments.

Absolutely! We won’t start invoicing you either until things are working smoothly. Did we mention we never require contracts?

Of course! Not only can you display a call log in your firehouse, but there is no additional fee to also display it at home, at work, on your computer, on your iPad, on your PDA, on your phone, on your FireCompanies.com website, etc.

We enjoy being able to offer customized large-area deployments. Our discounts typically vary from 25%-60% off our standard rates, plus these deployments come with additional features not possible with single accounts. Master accounts, special teams, dispatch center monitoring, mass messaging, etc. are all included features that come with any large or multi-organizational deployment.
